Every spring, we revisit what it means to bring warmth and life back into a space. This year's collection draws from heritage craftsmanship — handmade tiles, natural stone, and textured linens that feel like they've always belonged.

The Challenge

The homeowner wanted a bathroom that felt spa-like but not sterile. They were drawn to bold pattern but worried it would overwhelm a smaller space. The existing layout had poor lighting and dated fixtures that made the room feel closed off.

The Choices We Made

We chose a blue floral encaustic tile as the anchor wall — bold enough to make a statement but contained to one surface so it wouldn't dominate. Copper globe pendants replaced the old recessed cans, adding warmth and drawing the eye upward. The dark vanity cabinetry grounds the room while the round mirrors soften the geometry of the tile pattern.

The finished space feels like a boutique hotel — rich, layered, and intentional. The homeowner said it's the first room in the house that makes them stop and breathe. That's what heritage in bloom looks like.
